A Glossary of the Tribes and Castes of the Punjab and North-West Frontier Province, compiled from earlier census and ethnographic material and published in 1911. It is a useful historical source, but reflects colonial categories and should be read critically.
Customary law records
District-level customary-law compilations are cited in later summaries to distinguish Jajjah from Jathaul in Sialkot. The archive is seeking the most direct edition and page reference.
